The Benefits of Rebounding
Put some bounce into your day! Rebounding is a fun and easy way to get your health back on track. Whether you want to lose weight, enhance detox, boost your immunity or want a good workout, you'll see the benefits with just a few minutes on a trampoline a day. Hop on board and enjoy the results!

Lose weight

Rebounding is a great exercise for burning off excess weight. Continuous bouncing provides the calorie burning benefits of other forms of exercise such as jogging, cycling or swimming. The lymphatic stimulation helps remove the acid wastes produced while exercising that can affect our body's metabolism.

Boost energy

Rebounding's rhythmic bouncing works our large muscle groups, increasing breathing and blood flow and stimulating our heart rate. This enhanced circulation boosts oxygen and nutrient delivery to all cells improving energy levels and vitality.

Protect joints

Jumping is a safe and effective low impact workout. The trampoline absorbs much of the pounding experienced when working out on a hard surface, making it easy on joints, and an ideal exercise for those with joint problems or back pain.

Enhance detox

Rebounding is perfect for helping our body cleanse itself. Our lymphatics do not have a pump like the heart and rely on gravity and muscular movement to stimulate their flow. The rhythmic bouncing of rebounding provides both. As our body temperature rises we start to sweat, helping remove acidic toxins through our skin. The contraction of large muscle groups also brings alkalizing oxygen to all tissues and stimulates our abdominal organs, supporting the passage of solid wastes through our colon.

Boost immunity

Many of our immune cells are carried by the lymphatic system. Enhancing lymphatic circulation increases their mobility and activity all over our body, helping fight off infection and disease.

Develop and calm nervous system

As we bounce up and down our sense of body awareness, known as proprioception, is awakened. Incorporating different moves challenges and develops our coordination. Rebounding is also a great stress reliever because the repetitive jumping can bring you to a trance-like state of relaxation.

How long should you jump?

Start out with 5 minute sessions and gradually increase as your fitness improves. Work towards 15 minutes per session, from one session 3 times a week to 3 sessions a day. It only takes a few minutes a day to start improving your health.

Suggested exercises

The aim of the trampoline is not to jump as high as you can, but to jump rhythmically to bring its benefits. Doing different movements enhances balance, coordination and strength. Try some of these easy Trampoline Exercises.
