A more complete model of care
Come for one consultation. Or stay for a complete reset.
This is not simply a hormonal transition. It can affect your sleep, metabolism, mood, strength, cognition, sexual wellbeing and long-term health. Too many women are told to tolerate symptoms — or are offered disconnected solutions. At TheLifeCo, we look at the whole picture and help you understand what is changing, what deserves investigation and what can realistically improve. Care begins with assessment. Your plan can combine targeted lifestyle change with medical evaluation and treatment where appropriate.

Good to know
Is this the right support for you?
Use these answers to choose your next step. They can guide you toward a consultation or residential program, but they cannot diagnose menopause or determine treatment suitability.
It may be a useful starting point if changes in your cycle, hot flushes, night sweats, sleep, mood, concentration, body composition, strength, joints, vaginal comfort, bladder function or sexual wellbeing are affecting you. You can also attend with few symptoms if you want a structured midlife review of bone, muscle, metabolic and cardiovascular health. A consultation — not an online symptom list — is the right way to confirm what support fits you.
No. We support women through perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause. Perimenopause can begin years before the final period, and symptoms may appear while cycles are still regular or have only started to change. If symptoms or cycle changes occur before age 45 — and especially before 40 — we recommend medical evaluation rather than assuming they are menopause.
Choose a day consultation if you want clarification, a focused assessment, a treatment review or support that fits around your normal schedule. Consider a 7-, 14- or 21-day residential program if several areas are affected, you need distance from your usual environment, or you would benefit from daily structure, supervised movement, nutrition, education and recovery. Our team can help you choose after a pre-arrival review.
We review your symptoms and priorities, menstrual and reproductive history, current medications and supplements, hormone-therapy history, sleep, nutrition, activity, body-composition changes, sexual and urinary health, and relevant personal and family risks. From this, we identify what can be addressed through lifestyle support, what may need testing, and what requires a gynecologist or another specialist.
Not always. In women over 45 with typical symptoms and cycle changes, menopause is usually identified clinically because hormone levels can fluctuate and a single result may mislead. Testing may be appropriate when symptoms are atypical, periods stop before 45, pregnancy or another condition is possible, or the result would change management. We do not use a fixed hormone panel for every woman.
No. Hormone therapy is one evidence-based option, not a requirement and not a replacement for lifestyle care. When clinically appropriate, we can discuss its likely benefits, risks and alternatives and coordinate the relevant medical assessment. The decision depends on your symptoms, age, time since menopause, whether you have a uterus, medical history, preferences and local prescribing arrangements.
Yes. Bring the exact names, doses and formulations of all prescriptions, hormones and supplements. We can review your symptoms, adherence, adverse effects and wider health plan, but you should not stop or change prescribed treatment before speaking with the clinician who manages it.
You may still benefit from consultation, lifestyle support and selected nonhormonal care, but some hormones, supplements and clinic therapies may be unsuitable. Tell us before booking so we can review safety and, when needed, coordinate with your oncologist, gynecologist or other treating specialist. A residential wellness program must not delay necessary medical care.
Seek prompt medical assessment for any bleeding after 12 months without a period, unexplained or very heavy bleeding, a new breast lump, chest pain, fainting, sudden breathlessness, new neurological symptoms, or severe deterioration in mood. These are not symptoms to manage through a retreat first. If you are unsure, contact our medical team before travelling.
Yes. These concerns are common, important and discussed confidentially. Assessment can distinguish tissue-related symptoms from pelvic-floor, infection, medication, relationship or other contributors. Support may include education, moisturizers or lubricants, pelvic-floor care, medical treatment options and referral when appropriate.
Not primarily. Rapid weight loss is a poor measure of midlife health if muscle and strength are lost with it. We focus on body composition, protein adequacy, metabolic health, movement capacity, sleep and sustainable habits. Any calorie restriction, fasting or detox pathway requires an individual safety review and will not suit every guest.
The movement pathway is adapted to your starting point and emphasizes strength, bone loading, balance, mobility and safe progression. Previous inactivity does not exclude you. Active injury, significant pain, severe osteoporosis, uncontrolled medical conditions or recent surgery may require modification or clearance before participation.
No. Tests and treatments are selected only when they answer a clinical question or change the plan. Residential inclusions vary by duration, and additional laboratory work, specialist consultation or therapies may be priced separately. We confirm recommended and optional items before treatment.
The aim is a clear, realistic plan — not a promise that every symptom will disappear during one stay. You leave with priorities for nutrition, movement, sleep, stress regulation and medical follow-up, plus recommendations for repeat measures or specialist care where relevant. Longer-term results depend on appropriate treatment, adherence and follow-up.
