Glutathione is a very powerful antioxidant that protects the body by targeting and destroying reactive oxygen molecules and free radicals

 

How is Glutathione Therapy applied?

It is administered intravenously and it can be used as a lifetime supplement.

Push over 10 to 15 minutes usually.

It has an initial loading dose of 6 sessions.

Can be done either twice or three times a week.

After the 6 sessions can be continued once a month.

Avoid taking glutathione if you're sensitive to it. Experts don't know if taking glutathione is safe during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Inhaled glutathione may also trigger asthma attacks in people who have it.

Tell your doctor about any supplements you're taking, even if they're natural. That way, your doctor can check on any potential side effects or interactions with any medications.

It is not recommended to be given at the same time as any other IV products. It is contraindicated to give glutathione while a person is taking cancer chemotherapy drugs since glutathione increases the ability of the liver to process chemicals. This may cause the chemotherapy to be less effective.

There is no side effect related to Glutathione. Glutathione is considered GRAS (generally regarded as safe) by the FDA.
